Technical Passwort has expired

Some of my accounts passwords has expired and it concerns especially the accounts which I didn't often use.

How long is the period til the password is going to be inactive and must I log on warmane site to prevent this, or is it enough to log-in the game for the future?

Nothing has been leaked, we implemented a password expiry system, too many people met a certain criteria that was scary infact, 1/100th of the community maintaining their accounts security didn't look good at all.

This affects players that are slightly inactive, with no 2FA enabled and no password changes for years, with all the recent account sharing, trading, selling, xyz server leaked, we had very little options to help players maintain their accounts properly.

Some players will receive a password expiry notice on login to confirm and update, the more serious cases have been force-expired because of multiple locations (countries) logging into one account meeting the criteria.

I have 3 main accounts with 2step-auth and essential chars on it, the rest are low accounts without any importance. I see that I must switch the password every year to prevent this password reset on the low accounts.

Some of the low-accounts are still blocked bcz I don' know the exact email which I used a few years ago. They aren't really important and I wanna test some addresses before I write a mail to [email protected]

You must write a mail with all essential informations that you are the owner of the accounts. Then it's just waiting:)

And which informations are essential? I wrote name of characters, nickname and e-mail :D Hope it´s enough.

If it's not enough, they will tell you what else is needed.

It needed half an hour to restore every of the 10 accounts but some tricks helped to find out the mails and their passwords but finally it worked

Btw Gremist, you know your mail but not your password, don't you? You can try to restore the mail, if you deposited a phone number or another mail address.

Or did you forgot that deposited one too;)

Can i write an email to infowarmane from other mail than gmail? I wrote an email from other than gmail and now i am thinking about this was it correct or not
