Technical Don't I Need To Do Something Before Running The Game?

I'm currently downloading the WoTLK Client from the Warmane Site.

I downloaded it a few years back and remember getting an error opening up the game and having to go into the files and change some info?

If anyone can let me know if I'm correct and what to do that would be great. I remember having to uninstall and re-install a few times when I did it a few years ago and would like to avoid that if possible.

If you're downloading it from warmane site, you shouldn't need to change anything. When it's downloaded, right click ythe folder, go to compability and tick 'Run as administrator'. To launch, use wow.exe and make sure you sing in with your username, not e-mail.
