WotLK Addons not appearing

ive downloaded some of the addons that were on the addon list on the forums and ive extracted the files to the wow/interface/addons folder and none of them are appearing in game nor is there an addon button on the character screen any suggestions?

Load out of date addons, check that option.
Also, for me, some addons just dind't do anything, like DrDamage, it was enabled, I had options but it never appeared, rip.
