1. Anti Camping Squad

    Hello,

I saw a lot of topics about gankers in time and while today i was thinking about Warmane in general, a thought crossed my mind. What if someone would create a leveling guild that offers anti camping support... Would be something like Leveling and Anti Camping Support/Squad with a fancy short letter name like LACS (to mimic some gov names). It should have a lot of high level PvP players (like 10+) so none of those players would be forced to "stay on guard". In a typical scenario let's say, 10 players are online and from them only 4-5 aid levelers with anti ganking support, rest of them do other stuff. Those high level PvP players need to be enough motivated to stop campers, for this idea to work. Rest of the guild should be composed by leveling players that can opt to stay in guild after max level -as "ACS" agents- or move on to join other guilds. The leveling support is thought as a free service. Any leveling player can join the guild following ads on general chat or a recommendation. When the leveling player gets ganked, he/she simply writes in the beautiful green guild chat and asks for help.
This idea should provide an anti camping solution fit for any realm that needs it.

    Thanks,

There are plenty of people who help out levelers with gankers on both sides. There are days I will spend my time helping players out because I get bored of bgs and dungeons ,once you get geared up and get Achievements there is not much else to do so why not. Ive been known to tag along side horde lowbies killing mobs for them while they quest lol.

  4. As Lastcall said there are already plenty of people who do that. Maybe not in a so organized way, but calling for help against gankers in local or global is all it takes, 90% of the time some bis 80 will come to help. A lot of 80s roam the leveling zones for this purpose also.

  5. We have the same idea. However, lately, I realized this is impractical. Why? It takes quite alot of time and effort to travel to low-level zones and pursuit gankers. And, often, gankers would just log off when the aid arrives and would return again after 30 minutes when the aid has called it quits. To keep the aids patient and motivated, we would need to pay them a sizable sum of gold, but it still may not be enough. These aids, mostly PvPers, are in for the thrill, and the inconsistency and chore of aiding would bore them in the long haul.

And to tell the truth, most PvPers wouldn't spend so much time helping lowbies unless there's a world PvP "war" going on. Like I mentioned, they need to get something in return and that is honor points and kill credits.
