Lordaeron Banned for ninja looting?

Can any admin give me an example of when I actually did any ninja looting? I did a dungeon about a week ago and I pressed need on a ring that I already had just to sell it later and it's not even that good. Some guy got really butthurt about that instead of asking me ''hey can I have that ring as you already have one please?'' He typed in group chat ''OMG THIS WARRIOR NEEDS EVERYTHING''. This is so unfair I get banned for 4 days for a stupid little ring? Are you serious? If he just asked me nicely for the ring I would give it to him but when he goes ''OH THIS GREEDY WARRIOR'' in party chat I ain't giving him nothing.

Ninjalooting means that you press "Need" and roll on items, which you don't need (for example you have a better ring), can't use (for example warr rolls on a ring with int on it) or is for another specc (for example you are arms and roll on a ring with parry and avoid-stats)

It seems that you rolled "need" on all items to sell them, that's the definition of a ninja. Another guy needed it and I understand his reaction. i mean, when someone steals your money, you don't say: "Hi, could you pls give my money back sir", and the thief says: "No, you haven't got much money, and I have more on my bank account, why should the police come, unfair?"

And this is where you ****ed up. No matter what happens next is irrelevant. You can't blame somebody (over)reacting over an item that you greedily needed.

I never played wow before I'm a new player I didn't know getting another REALLY BAD ring that's worth close to nothing is really that bad. The guy was being a douche about it could've just asked me in pm ''hey can u give me that ring please as you already have one'' but instead he decides to call me a greedy bastard...
But getting banned over a bad little ring? That's literally insane and unfair in my opinion, I understand I made a mistake but the guy ain't a saint either he even pm'ed me calling me all kinds of names and I'm the one getting punished 5 day ban for a single little ring? This is literally insane please try to put yourself in my shoes in this situation...

Your shoes are the shoes of someone who broke a rule, got reported and received the expected punishment. That's all there really is to it. Your opinions on the value of the item, on the reaction of other players or on the rule itself don't change anything.
