I would like to trade my Shammy but when I place online, there is a set price. Nobody will buy it for 164 but if I try and lower it, it automatically changes to 164

There is a minimum price based on your chars gear. If you want to sell it for lower price, unequip some items and sell it without inventory.

30 coins is the minimum for naked chars. Most ppl reduce the costs so that it's a bit more likely that someone buys the char for 30 instead of 300 coins, but even 30 coins are too much.
