Cataclysm transfer from Cata to Pandaria

Hey, I was told that since cata will be shutting down there was a way to transfer my cata character to the later expansion but I have no idea how to find it, the people i play with are thinking about switching but havent looked into it.

Thank you I never went to that but apparently it's not available so rip I got to scrap that character
