A bug and yet not a bug. Receiving deserter after crash in RBG's

Hi!

So I assume the title kinda explains it. In short, I crash sometimes in RBG's as do others... however, I actually get the deserter and I've now confirmed another guy who got a crash in the same bg (IoC) didn't get the deserter. The latter is ofcourse the fair way for all this to occur, rather not have it happen at all ofcourse. Anybody with the knowhow to explain what's going on here?

I also remember crashing before and when I relogged I got into the same BG, this doesn't happen anymore, I just appear at the place where I was before entering the BG with deserter debuff.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

same here, just crashed and got deserter when logged back. That's a feature of crossrealm i think... Also noticed combat log is not working properly, causing some addons to fail functioning, like recount.
PS:not a fan of crossrealm, I'd prefer the old way but can live with it i guess.
