Technical High latency

Hey!

I recently joined warmane Outland and having a great time so far. Although there is one problem that’s bugging me and it’s that I’m having extremely high latency at times, we’re talking 5k and over (although I’m not sure it’s completely accurate since quartz sometimes registers my ms as around 70 when the ui tells me that I’m at 5k or something).
I also get freezes and stuff, all this is fairly detrimental since my main focus is pvp.

Now to the strange part, I have no issues in other games and I tried some servers that I used to play on and I’m still all good.
My initial thought was that it was a problem with my ISP but I’ve pinged the server and it comes back as around 45is ms.

Really scratching my head here and any help or insights would be great!

I am having similar issues.

Before, I was around 230 ms and now it spikes up to 5000 ms+. Just about a couple of weeks ago it started doing this. = (

I can surf the internet no problem and watch YouTube videos with no lag. I have even done the Speedtest to see if I am having internet problems, and the report says there are no problems. 98 mbps download and 99 mbps upload.

Please if someone could offer solutions, much appreciated. I have deleted all addons and have deleted my Cache and WTF folders and still lag issues.
