What are the reasons to lock the website trade system behind a pay wall? Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to have this open to everyone, because then there would be probably more players using it, which is good for buyers, sellers and warmane? If everyone could sell his gold, characters etc. it would benefit the community on the following points:
- Everyone can get a few coins through playing the game and selling his progress, which gives players a reason to play, which is always great for everyone
- It would help the "donor-shaming" problem, because "that guy"-icecrown in the battleground with smourne and other BiS gear who has no clue what he is doing might have gotten this gear through fair website trades and not just because he is rich irl
- Buyers are a lot more likely to find the item they want for the price they want, which leads to more transactions and therefore more money for warmane
- An active trade option is more attractive than an less active one, so it gives the coins in some regard more worth because you can use them for more different stuff.
- It would be WoW-Token like, just a lot more complex. This model has proven itself quite succesful for Blizzard and I think warmane could benefit from this just as much, if not even more.

Don't you have to buy the game first before you can buy WoW tokens? As far as I remember, you can't get more than a few golds with starter edition, before you buy the game. So both cases seem pretty similar to me. You have to pay something first before you can use gold to get what you want.
Since this has been suggested and denied in the past I'm also denying it here. We're not interested in opening Premium perks to everyone because they're meant to be exclusive.
