just started, new char, got to level 10, got skinning, got skinning knife....
but i cannot skin anything? whats going wrong?

You have to skin beasts, humanoids like yeti, dragons etc
You have to skin mobs at lvl max = you skinning lvl /5, so for 100 skill mob lvl 20 is max etc
You have to loot mob before skinning
Sometimes you have to try it few times, cause of "failed attempt"

clearly know that.... i figured it out
i was attempting to skin a level 12 nightsaber
because the skinning knife doesnt have +10 to skinning like it should have i had to go bad to the starting areas... but why is there no error stating i cant skin
