Realms [Blackrock] Cross-faction mercenary mode

This is a possible solution to reduce alliance BG queue time w/o changing anything on Lordaeron or Icecrown.

I suggest to re implement cross-faction BGs but exclusively for Blackrock players.
When Blackrock players queue for a BG they are automaticly put in the queue of the faction with less players. So in most cases the horde side.
Upon entering the BG their visual appearance is changed depending on what faction they fight for while they keep the racials of their original race.

Players from Lordaeron and Icecrown wouldn't notice any difference except shorter BG queue times and here and there a Orc with EMFH but I guess thats not a big deal...

Blackrock players aren't into rpg, they don't care about what faction they fight for and how their character looks like as long as they have the best racials.
The realm already has some cross-faction features such as cross-faction PvP in Stranglethorn and cross-faction malls.
It would only be consequent to make Blackrock in all aspects cross-faction and its also necessary because the realm has a enormous faction imbalance of 70% alli to 30% horde.
This faction imbalance does not only cause issues on cross-realm BGs. It will cause issues on any upcoming cross-realm feature that Warmane might implement. Think of cross-realm Wintergrasp. How is it going to work when Blackrock brings only alliance characters to the server pool?

Imo the solution is that Blackrock has to act as a fill up realm when it comes to cross-realm features between the 3 wotlk realms. Any potential faction imbalance in the wotk server pool can be balanced out by making Blackrock players dynamic instead of bonded to one faction.

I think they should make changing factions on Blackrock free the way it always used to be. A lot of people like playing horde, but since it will lock them out of solo queue and makes it really hard to look for arena partners, they are forced to stay as alliance.
I, for example, would probably be queuing bgs as horde, but now I'm seriously considering moving my only remaining horde character to alliance, because I can't even queue arenas.
I believe this contributes to the faction imbalance greatly.

agreed, I have a 6k warlock on horde that I barely play and considered switching to alliance. Playing bgs isn't rewarding at all because there is NOTHING you can spend your honor on and soloque is unplayable as horde. As alliance I could at least use this char for arenas
