you can get inside the cities, you just have to avoid the guards and other players.
You might be able to find critters from other locations as well.
Take the nearest flight path and run to Horde zones.

If you don't have a fly patch available on the map, take the nearest available fly patch and go there manually on your horse or smt. If you want to go to Durotar take a fly to Ratchet (if you can) or take a ship from the stranglethorn vale (Booty bay). Durotar is a map next to it. Just look at map, sit on your horse and go there. You can enter any map but not every map have a fly patch.
