Icecrown + one Lordaeron + Blackrock player vs 7 Blackrock players

The highest GS in our team was that dude from Blackrock, the rest was like 5.5kgs lower.

That’s the other side of BALANCE that doesn’t happen as often. Bigger concern would be when an IoC or AV are 80% of Blackrock players on the Horde, while Alliance is loaded with Icecrown BiS players who smash everything and win most of AV and IoC.

Something amazing happened on my horde character yesterday. We won 3 bgs in a row. I think if you're horde, you might want to wait until after peak hours to run battlegrounds. During peak hours, yea, we get destroyed by mostly BiS humans. Pro Tip - wait for those biS humans to go to sleep then play.

Not sure why you think there is suppose to be balance, that's strange idea you come up with. Anyway since Merc Mode is only on Blackrock is pretty natural there will be mostly BR players on horde teams.

What are the odds of having 8 icecrown players from the high gear bracket being under 5.5k gs? This is honestly mindblowing. That was a real one in a million bg

That's right, because it seems like at the lowest 75% of horde players on ice crown don't want to do pvp. On alliance side you see people looking for arena partners in chat. You don't really see that on horde side. I have tried for days to find an arena partner that was at least just as well geared as I am, still no go. But it's whatever, that's why I level 2 characters, horde and alliance. Pvp much more fun on alliance side, they're just really mean when you make a mistake, hordes don't care if you mess up, they know they will lose anyways.

Every second, maybe third bg is like this. Are you even playing solo queue to ask such a thing? :D

I only do BGs for the daily, and when I get this map, there is a 90% chance of me taking the desert debuff because the horde side (usually almost full BR players) will stay the whole 24 minutes of the BG farming us for free honor.

15 minutes is not much, I can just do some RDFH in the meantime

I just got absolutely crushed in a bg as Alliance because Warmane couldn't fill up the low gear bracket apparently so they put a team with several sub-20k health Icecrown Alliance players against a team of mostly Blackrock horde/mercenaries.

I really don't have a problem with letting the horde have some free wins like that, to keep their spirits up. But this does happen in off-peak hours in case you didn't know. Warmane can't always fill the low-gear bracket so they sometimes dump a bunch of Icecrown alliance in green gear to get destroyed.
