Classic WOW new realm?

what are your thoughts on making a vanilla realm in warmane?

I wish they woukld do that, because it's almost impossible to play Blizzard's classic Wow, have fun waiting 10 hours in que on any server you try to join.

The hype will end up just like the TBC realm packed at the beginning and then die off.
Wow classic queues are only bad on streamer realms. All others re fine.

Classic? pfff... if you want classic go to BC, the people wanted BC and look now, it start with two servers and now only remain one and with low population, people needs something new and something who likes, like Legion the people who are in retail says Legion was better than BFA and there are so many player playing on Legion server with a lot of bugs, and Warmane can do a Legion server very well

Your point about classic and burning crusade also applies to legion. If you played cataclysm or mop you will know legion here won't be well at all, warmane does lk and anything else is a side project imo.
If they do make a classic though I might start selling chars again as I do enjoy leveling chars.

cata and mop were extremely popular before the moltdown, after that the drop in population occured because of the lack of fixes; while the first three expansion are nearly perfected by now, classic and tbc, imo don't have much of an entertaining end game, which is the most important part of any expansion on a private server because it is usually played on it's last patch; so by now everybody should have an itch for the "new gen" of WoW, i.e. everything after WotLK; and this doesn't mean that they should suddenly switch and stop playing good ol' Wrath, nobody is stopping them from enjoying the old and the new.

If you want classic > go to blizzard. Just because classic will be ''free'' here doens't mean it will be good. You had plently of time to play that on other private servers. It will be bad. If they cannot fix some bugged quests for years then how is Vanilla going to be any better?

Also remember that since this is free server, there will be some notations:
- Store, this will cause major inbalance and people will already donate for everything they can. Phase 1 (if it has phases) will be all molten core items + sword.
- Multiboxers going in big. Blizzard also has them but at way less number as it's more expensive. Here it will be dozens of them and they will just farm and farm and farm and ruin the holy economy.
- Bots, same as above.
- Stats will be much different from classic wow.

So no, a big no from me. It just wouldn't work for me. And if you complain about huge queue times there, then play on lower population server...

I feel like Vanilla realm will be ssuch a waste right now. Sure there will be some people who will play it but majorit of players who are interested in Vanilla are playing Classic.
