1. Number of players in Icecrown before WoW Classic release

    Hello there,

I am back to WoW after the Vanilla hype. And I am wondering if the number of players in Icecrown Realm was high before the Vanilla release

  2. Still the same for my point of view. Server is amost max population near every time. I think players here really have desire to play Wotlk. Vanilla have problems to so its matter of wish and opinion what, where, with who you want to play. P.S. To political asnwer but atleast true for me,

  3. Wow classic doesn't have item store > this does. This is why majority doesn't play vanilla there zz

  4. I can only offer an anecdotal answer, but I've noticed a dip in population in Icecrown's horde. At least in WG where I make my home.

I wouldn't be surprised if overall not many didn't go to Blizzard classic, and I'm one of them.

One, I don't like classic. I find it too boring. There's not enough buttons and you spend more time pooling resources than doing anything worthwhile on melee. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a decent amount of people who just dislike classic.

Two, I don't want to give Blizzard money. I don't like them as a company or people, and my friends feel the same way. I'd rather go play a classic private server than give Blizzard a dime due to how they've treated their customer base and destroyed the Warcraft franchise. Just because they back pedaled on a statement years ago just to save face doesn't change who and what they are now.

    Three, I don't like classic.

I dare say their backpedaling only confirms what they are now.
They didn't do it to please players, just to attract subscriptions, which keep going down and, Blizzard being Blizzard, they are utterly unable to come up with something brand new that is enticing.

  6. Why pay for classic when you can pay for BiS items.

Of course they did that for subscriptions. To get nostalgia and return some old people. They don't care because: Hunters are bugged, layering is terrible, dungeon xp bug needed like so many days to get fixed. So...
