Hi so today I was trying to tame a pet instead of the one that I abandoned, and when I went to a specific beast and the beast level was 39 I tried to tame it, so I used the tame spell and after the channeling was over the beast didn't became my friend and pet. So, I need to know what is the problem with taming beasts?

Here is even worse, I'm not able to tame any beasts at all after finishing final quest and getting Tame Beast ability, no comment really, waiting on gm with open ticket for 2h already..

did you or the other person log out after abandoning your pet? from what I understand, while doing the quest, your pets remain with you for some reason. When you relog, they disappear.
What could be happening to you is, the game recognizes you have a pet, so relogging or even /reload - ing might help you.
Keep in mind, the taming quest continues. There are about 4 ques for it. If you're not 80, it could also effect your ability to tame a pet. Some pets are exotic pets, but I haven't tried taming those. Hopefully someone can verify this as they read it.
