WotLK Charecter Restoration

Hey guy,
I used to play a couple of years ago and had a few toons on which i had spent a huge amount of my time in. I wanted to start playing again and came to see that my heroes were not there anymore. You can imagine how devastated i felt when i found out they werent in my account anymore. Can you please help me get them back?
