Rampant Ninja Looters Name Changing

I have noticed this a lot recently. If a player ninjas a bunch of items and then name changes are the GM's still able find that players account? I would hope they have that logged in some fashion, but it is really frustrating that the ninjas can do this. I've had this happen twice now in 24hrs, which is just unlucky.
