WotLK Stuck on 'Retrieving character list'

Hello, when i log in it connects and then wont go past retrieving character list, anyone had this same problem and know a fix? Thanks very much

Are you playing on a public network such as work or school? They may have it blocked, as is the case at my work.

Are you playing on a public network such as work or school? They may have it blocked, as is the case at my work.

It is on a private network, at home. I was able to log on one time in the past few days, every other time i try it gets stuck here.
