Maybe becase announcing it would negate whole point of the squish? If they announce it 2 months earlier people will boost the prices EVEN MORE than they are now makin the squish ultimately useless because economy will still be ****ed.

Gold Squish ultimately does nothing, If anything it just punish's new players old players dont even need gold or have anything to buy

Prices were increasing on AH even before the squish was announced. Its not the announcement of the squish that drives prices up its the risk of one.
