You can buy it from ah, usually price ranges from 10k to 60k... On Icecrown realm at least, never seen it on Lord

This item is no longer obtainable outside the owners of it during the "Scourge Invasion" world event that took place just before the release of WoTLK. Check your AH for it and get lucky!

And here's why it won't be added to point/coin shop: It can be traded for high amounts of gold.
There used to be BoE items in point shop, but they were removed as people made dozens of accounts just to collect points. Then buy the BoE items and sell them for gold.

And seeing hundreds of these around Dalaran/raids would ruin it for me tbh. Buy one with gold if you so much want it.

Important note about this item is that it does not become soulbound to your character which allows you to sell it in auction house which can potentially be an insanely expensive item in future if you cannot gain them anymore after this event from anywhere.

There's your answer. You can request it to be added to the store using the little link in the bottom left corner and that's it. It's super rare and it should remain rare.

how are they on the auction house on icecrown if they are not attainable? Icecrown never progressed through patches it was always 3.3.5a no? So where did the ones that exist come from if there is no scourge invasion event on the server???
