WoTLK character missing after long period of inactivity

I have not played in about 2 years and it seemes to me that my characters were deleted from the lich king servers. Particulary i had a rouge lvl80 that i would love to get back. Is there a way for me to restore the my characters ?

I've got the same issue... Had a few level cap characters and now they're gone.

I assume you havent logged in a while, so i guess your chars were on Deathwing/rag, as they merged into 1 realm they given us over a year to manually move them to icecrown, now i have no idea if you still can recover your chars, but try making a ticket and asking them.
