I've been doing the Rogue quest to remove the Zanzil debuff and obtain the poisons skill.
I've reached the Farren Mill and met Hinott, which gave me the Oil.
I didn't really read through and left and used the Oil in a second moment while in combat.
The oil didn't work at all, the debuff is still there, and i discovered that i don't even have the Poisons skill! but the quest has been completed and talking with hinott doesn't do anything.
Logged out and in, nothing changed. I don't know what else to do...
Is this a bug or did i forget something?

You don't have the poison ability anymore - you buy them off vendor starting at lvl 20 if I'm not mistaken. About the debuff, following the questline to the end should work and get it removed. I got it removed through the quest on my rogue 3 days ago.

How did it get removed? by drinking the Oil? or did you do something after? because the questline has finished for me, there's no other step to do at the moment, and i've drinked the oil but the debuff is still there

I did it Horde side, all I had to do was bring something to a dude and he cleansed it for me after I turned in the quest.
Btw did you try dying?
