You can try appealing in My Account> Support, but since you admit the ban Is legit I don't see much point.

Sorry man, just because You didnt know it, doesnt mean You dont have to obey "law".
There are rules published officialy. You gotta accept them if You want to play. If You accepted it without actually reading it, thats kinda Your problem.
