    Why cant i kill players from other factions

    Whenever i see an alliance player (im horde btw) i cant damage them but sometimes a lvl 80 just charges and 1 shots me can someone explain why i cant kill anyone and why they can kill me?

    If you are in their territory (hostile zone for you, friendly for them) you can't attack them unless they attack you first. If it's a contested zone you can attack at will.
