u can tmog in other patch with a penny of gold now cost 10euro,atleast makeit also available for 10points

If you think it's too high then farm it by raiding. 10 coins isn't much when compared to other items so I think it's reasonable.

It's a custom nonessential feature which doesn't impact the gameplay. It's just a showing off item, the price is alright.
And if you don't like it, you can do as Thorbjorn said, farm it by raiding and/or BGs. Clearing naxx 10/25 and ulduar 10/25 is enough to probably get you at least one scroll.
