Yeah. I installed the game following the instructions, changed realmlist, set wow.exe to be compatible in windows Xp SP3 yet I'm still getting disconnected. I get to character screen, I can change server, but still can't create character. Getting immediately disconnected. Dunno where the issue is anymore so I ended up here. Please help

Try disabling this. It's not required and anti cheat might not like it.
Which expansion are you trying to play? What message are you getting?

WoTLK and man thank you verym uch! Disabling it helped me. I turned it on because some other forum threads said that it helped them. (That was before I fixed realmlist) Have a good day sir

Still not fixed for me. Tried absolutely everything, even disabling firewall, resparting, sp3, run as admin, nothing works. Please help!
