How to ignorelist crossrealm player in pvp?

I wanted to ignore someone whispering me obscenities during battleground, but all i got is a message "no player found" when trying to block.

You can't, maybe with addon, Try to lure him into spewing somethign racist, printscreen the chatt and sent it in a ticket to GM and bann him for racism.
Most of the time these players are real imnature toxic children, so it's not really hard to set up a trap.
"Hey I'm afro American / Jewish / Chinese / so you leave me alone!!", Pick your favorite and se what happends.

Oh I see, thanks for info, quite inconvenient.

It's too much effort, so I think I will just pull whispers if they happen to another window and then close it after bg, which should make it easily invisible for that time period.

Good idea, you can also right click your chatt tab and remove wispers from whatever tab you use. I have a special wisper tab for my chatt so if im AFK I can come back and check it without having to worry it have been removed by a lot of other text from whatever source.
