WotLK transmog question

Hello good people,

I have a question about transmogs, on my mage i have a one handed sword equiped.
Can i only transmog it to another one handed sword or to all weapons i can equip as a mage?

You can Transmog items of same type and class:
Plate Helm > Plate Helm

You need to be able to equip the item, otherwise you won't be able to transmogrify it.

1H Sword <> 1H Axe <> 1H Mace
2H Sword <> 2H Axe <> 2H Mace

Polearm <> Staff

Bow <> Gun <> Crossbow

Daggers <> Daggers
Fist weapons <> fist weapons
Wands <> Wands
Shields <> Shields

So, as mage, you can xmog your 1 hand sword only to an other 1 hand sword (since your other option would be dagger and staff)
