Hellwife from Icecrown!

Greetings,
I have been playing on Warmane for 5 years now,
getting through all of the transitions, ingame stuff and
whatnot. I have seen it all here, really.

Established my main warrior here 3 years ago - Hell‐
wife, lots of achies done, and aiming for Loremaster
of the game (not the actual achievement but in
general - wanted to have every item, quest done, zone
phase shift, lore, hard to get items, unique stuff and
whatnot ). But i bumped into a sort of a problem here:

Some time ago i stopped getting that % chance items
(yes it is a % chance of getting them but hear me out)

1) Don't know which hierarchy I should start on but
at top of my mind here goes nothing - I have a hunter
alt, maxed out in engineering and that perky gnomish
device "Wormhole generator - Northrend". On my third
cast i got an option for "Dalaran Underground"

, on my

main Hellwife never have i got that in 3 years.

2) Mysterious egg. My other alt, on another acc, which
i do not play anymore, got the Green proto Drake in
about 2 months; Hellwife - 30 months buying it, approx
100 eggs not a sign of a mount.

3) Old crafty in Ogrimmar. My guldies got it in like

approx 20-30 mins, actually 6 of them who hunt
the achies like me. Hellwife - 6 days fishing, 4 hours
a day - not a sign of it.

4) Same goes for Old Ironjaw in Ironforge - 20 swings,
got it on my Hunter alt. Hellwife - Nope

5) Mr. Pinchy - Daily fishing it for a month straight,
Hellwife - nope, DK alt - got it in like 4 days

6) etc, don't have it on top of my mind right now
but You got the point.

Bottom line question - Am i doing something wrong
on my main? Did i somehow trigger that % chance to
"phase out" of existence by somewhat abandoning
certain quests/ actually doing some quests/ still on
some quests or did I somehow triggered something
along my journey (cause i've been doing some crazy
content on this huge world) which resulted in not
getting a chance of dropping those unique items?
Is there still a chance of me dropping all those items or
is it a Don Quijote neverending battle with windmills?
I just want to know is it still worth doing all this content
or did I trigger something along my journey which
blocks me of that ultimate satisfaction?

My personal opinion - this is just RNG.

For example, if an item have 10% to drop.

That means it should drop 1/10 times. Chances that You drop it at first try is 10%, but chances that You won't get it in 20 tries is ~12,5 % as well (if I did math correct).

So You know, thats just how rng works - i got my green proto with 2nd egg on rogue and never ever got it on any other char, while Im doing oracle rep on all toons :)

Thank you for your time to answer. :)

I mean if that is the case I would gladly take RNG any day, and still be trying to get it. I was just afraid I somehow triggered something that stopped me from getting it, because I had similar problems earlier with other stuff that needed to be reported via ticket and got resolved that way.
