WotLK i was mistakenly banned

hello warmane users and such, today I received a notification, that says that I´m banned for ninja looting. I did not, and I was on the western plage lands farming leather for leatherworking, not even playing dungeon or any raid, please unban me, is not fair I wasn´t even on a dungeon, how did I supposedly ninja loot? it´s a mistake, please. thank you

It likely wasn't a mistake. You were reported for ninja looting, and up to a week later you got banned for it. They must've had sufficient proof of you selecting "Need" for an item not designed for the role you entered the dungeon as. Just because you were farming leather when the ban hit doesn't mean you didn't ninja loot at another time.

If you got banned for ninja loot then you ninja looted something and someone got pissed at you for stealing their stuff so they reported you, simple as that.
