Hello! My guildies and I are having a problem. We have 2 ICC25 groups, one clears 11/12 constantly with like 5 HCs, and other does like 7/12 all on normal.
Both me and my guildie are collecting shards atm, I went around 20 bosses without seeing a single shard drop, and at the same time, my guildie went around 15 bosses without seeing a single shard.
Is that normal? Can it be that we are bugged or we are just cursed?
I have 15 shards so far and I am 2 weeks without shards atm, my guildie just started and has 0 and also haven't seen a shard for 2 weeks in 2 different raid groups?
Might be a silly question. Thanks for help!

Is Shadowfrost shard drop rate bugged or is my questline bugged?

Usualy on retail you could collect 50/50 shards in 8 weeks cuz droprates were 20-50% for normal and 70-99% for heroic boss kills. I myself am happy if i get 3 shards per 10/12hc clear > 17 weeks at best to collect your shards, more realisticaly - 1/2 a year.
We will never see statistics from warmane side to reveal truth about this situation, but remember that SM is currently selling on site

Afaik they reduced the drop rate for the shards - helps them sell SM on the market and since servers are on ICC forever gives players something to do

I guess you are intentionally being dumb. "Helps them sell SM" You are aware that IC will stay wotlk forever right? If they havent reduced it every single player on server would have 3 shadowmournes by now. Use your brain before you type **** like this again.

You are aware I acknowledged that "since servers are on ICC forever gives players something to do" right? Like how I understand they lowered the drop rate so that every player doesn't have 3 SMs? Maybe you're just intentionally being dumb. Try using the couple brain cells you have left.
