Let's say you are doing toc5 trinket farm, and by some insane luck, a trinket drop twice from the same boss (I saw it happens several times on a toc25 trinket, so I assume it can happens in dungs too), which more than one person in the group need. Without thinking, one of the players decides to roll need on both of them, without waiting to see if he win the first, and somehow he wins both of them, which gives him one trinket, and lock the 2nd trinket in the boss (unique item).
An easy fix for that situation would be giving the first trinket he won to another person in the dung, and then looting the 2nd one from boss.
If the winner doesn't agree to doing it, does it count as ninja looting - as he is locking an item in boss that he already have?
Or does the fact he rolled need on the item when he still didn't have it make it so the situation doesn't count as ninja looting?
This is kinda hypothetical question, but because I already seen scenarios where stupid need-rolls made items lock in a boss, and considering the long experience doing RDF runs with ******* players, it has a high probability of happening.
I've legit never seen that happen in a dungeon. Like, I've had this Xtremely rare case where we saw 3x shadowlsayer's cloak drop from gunship chest, but that's in a raid. In toc5(going along with the example), best I've seen was banner and rune both drop from the lady boss. Idk where we're going with the question tho...
