1. Sound pooping in-game

    Hello,

I just now started playing and have sound popping. Sound works and plays fine, but there are constant popping noises in the background. Sound works well in other games and in general, so it isn't my system nor the headphones. I tried playing around with the sound quality settings, but that didn't do much.

Maybe I have to lower the bitrate quality? It's currently set to 24 bit, 192000Hz.

I don't know... Have you tried? 192000 Hz is... absurd.

  3. Not yet. It's pretty late and tomorrow I have to go to work. But I'll be sure to try it. Thought I might ask here in case somebody else experienced this.
Generally I didn't have problems running at such a bitrate, but I guess some games just can't handle it.

Also, after the game downloaded (from the links on the site) my AV popped up saying that the Repair.exe contains a virus (trojan.win32.ircbot). I'm fairly certain it's a false positive, because why would anyone put a virus in the repair exe instead of the game exe. On the other hand, I don't know why that exe would trigger the AV. Maybe someone can shed some light?

  4. I had the same issue with my sound popping. Turns out, driver got ****ed and changed it to 192kHz, setting it back down to 48kHz (or is it 42kHz, not at my computer atm) fixed that.

Regarding Repair.exe being a virus, it's a false positive, but you can check yours, this is mine, downloaded from warmane torrent: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/...1d52/detection
Some AVs are a bit paranoid if an exe might rewrite another exe (fix the wow.exe file for example).

  5. Repair.exe is signed, you can check the signature from Properties.
