WotLK Randomly Disconnecting from Server (no internet problem)

I've seen other posts about this in the past few years but nothing seems to be resolved. Internet is working fine, I'm able to play other games no problem, and I can sometimes even connect to my character on Frostmourne. I see the server is up because theres 3k players online, but I either get disconnected while logging in or a few seconds after I join the server. I've cleared my Cache and redownloaded WoW but nothing seems to be working. Any advice? This has been going on for like 6 hours or so, started with me lagging out in The Nexus until I crashed. Sometimes it gets stuck on the "Connected" window, other times I actually get on the server and see other players running around, but I'm in a huge lag spike, unable to open mailbox, chat, or do anything, then I get disconnected again. Pretty frustrating since it was working fine yesterday/earlier today. Thanks.

I started having the same problem a few hours ago. Looks like my ISP has shut down warmane. After using a VPN (from my university), I'm able to play again.
