1. Opinion about ban

Hello, im not here to complain or show any negative behaviour. Im here just to ask you guys, specially the veterans a quick question. I don't expect any gm to read this topic or take any action. I've already opened a ban appeal via the account ticket system. So let me explain the situation. I was on a weekly raid quest run : Anub'Rekhan must die, ( 10 man raid ) we killed the boss, 8 people left the group, and me and the leader were the only ones left there, so 2 items dropped, i pressed greed on the one of the items, and need on the other one wich was (Deflection Band) a tank ring. Neither me or the leader( that was shaman or priest i dont really remember it) , could wear that ring, so me and him wanted to desinchant it. I got the ring and few hours later i got banned for ninja looting in raid (1month and 4weeks). So my question is, is that fair enough, and is it valid reason. Because i did not actually ninja loot anything. It was just a Desinchant roll, because nobody needed that item, and nobody could wear it. It was only me and the leader wich was spell-class and has nothing to do with a tank ring so and i. Id really appriciate realistic aspects. I hope warmane's team change their mind and lift up my ban, because i did nothing wrong at all, im well informed about ninja looting, and iv'e never done anything against community rules close to ninja looting in my entire gaming experience. Im very active player, i spend 10hours + a day. And i feel really sad about putting a line between me and the server. Specially because due to missunderstanding. As i said i dont want to complain or anything, i can't do anything pretty much, i just wanted to ask you guys for an opinion and to pour out my pain. :(
    Thank you.

  2. You ninja looted. No matter how you spin it you rolled for a spec that you weren't. It's irrelevant that the shaman couldn't wear the ring, he could've used the Abyss Crystal from disenchanting. Just because you could use it for OS or something else doesn't make it OK.
