What happened to Icecrown community?

Why are people so butthurt and they're running low level zones with their BiS PVP 80's just to kill people who're leveling?

Especially horde lol, what the ****.

Haven't played for 3 years and I come back to this while trying to level.

Both factions gank low levels, and tbh, I believe alliance does it the most. It's very ironic that you come here as alliance player complaining about Horde ganking you.

You shouldn't level on popular zones like STV, Tanaris, Un'goro, HFP, Borean Tundra, or gankers' paradise Sholazar Basin. If you get repeatedly ganked, unstuck and go to other zone, or logout for a while.
Nobody likes people coming here crying about being ganked buhuu. Yet gankers get further motivation to milk some salty tears.

Oh, the community is pretty much the same.

EDIT: Zanaris isn't WoW zone, Tanaris is.

This didn't happen 3 years ago. I hadn't been corpsecamped by any level 80 while leveling lol. Now it's everywhere. Don't tell me this is going on since launch.

We probably played different games then, cause I can only remember running into PvP at outs or north. Wasn't as aids as it is now.

Now people just camp stv, tanaris, etc. I guess they've nothing better to do since they've played the game for this long and are bored of it.

Kinda sad, cause new players will never want to play the game when they're gonna get smashed while leveling by a group of ganking 80's.

It was same for years, and even on retail of TBC/WotLK. STV, Tanaric etc are known pvp fiesta zones where no mercy exists

I typically just log on to do arena and occasionally BGs but when I read these comments it makes me want to gank lowbies. Your tears fuel me.

It's pretty much always happened, and both factions do it. Any lvl 80 with a modicum of class or respect doesn't gank lowbies. It's a trashy thing to do. But that won't stop ppl from doing it. Once you max lvl a character and gear it out, park it where you're going to be leveling, and jump on it if you're getting griefed. Teach then why it shouldn't be done. Until you get a toon max leveled, about the only thing you can do is join a guild and level with others. That, and move to a different zone if possible. STV, Hilsbrad, and Tanaris are especially bad, IMO.

I just leveled up a new Alliance character with my wife, hell, we even went to STV and Honor Hold mid day when servers were full, didn't get killed once by high level players, if you run straight into the mouth of an alligator then suit yourself.
