WotLK What race/class should I pick for support character?

Im new to WoW and I was hopping someone would tell me what race/class is best for and easiest to learn if I were to make a support character for Aliance,Im going to play on WotLK expansion.
Also are there any guilds that are helping new players get a decent grasp on the game?Im not searching for boosting just explanation on core game mechanichs.

Doesn't matter. Every race have their own cons/pros. For priest humans can be slightly ahead thanks to 3% bonus to spirit (also free removal of crowd control on self every 2 minutes in PvP).
Draeneis always welcomed for +1% of hit and they are only shaman race in alliance.
