1. Professions

Im a new wow player, recently I lvled my Rogue to lvl 80 and now I started DK, I didnt do any professions on Rogue, so if someone can explain and tell me what professions I should choose, and how should I earn money out of it, that would be nice.

  2. If you have purely Gold in mind, then Alchemy is top grade, Flasks and potions sell very good[Elixir or Potion Mastery]. Transmute is great too, passive income of every day gem transmute, but don't go Transmutation Mastery if you don't have specific gold making in mind from transmuting[in conjunction with Mining probably].

Inscription is awesome too, covers easy gold making from practically nothing[glyphs vellums] and jumps straight to top dog gold making[Darkmoon Cards], skipping "middle ground".

Take these two if you have few thousands to invest in leveling up these by buying reagents, it will pay off greatly if you keep at it. If you have lots of spare time to waste on gathering herbs, sure take Herbalism, at least for easier start.

Overall other professions have stuff you can make and sell, every profession has something. But first two I mentioned has the best potential, they scale great, means when you have made some nice sums you can use that to make even more, where other professions are somewhat limited in comparison.

If you have in mind purely getting stats for your character, then Engineering is amazing, power ups, all kinds of tools, extremely useful. Also JC+BS is great as pure passive stat gain.

  3. Make sure to take cooking in your spare time, ( it's a secondary proff you you can still have JC + ENG for example ). The food buff market is spinning kindof fast, you can easily double your money as a fresh 80 if you simply buy the mats for like 10-15 different sought after buff foods, but keep in mind that this only works in logical and reasonalbe amounts, if you want big cash you better do something else. ( you'll need dalaran cooking awards to buy the recipies ).

In the long run, however, go with angrylol's advice, he said it all. I made my first 100k three years ago with inscription, and still, I love that proff to this day, its so simple yet beautiful.
