Lost gold and 2 Characters

Dear Warmane support team

Good day to you

I had 50k gold on my character. And today i logged in someone took 25k gold, and deleted 2 of my characters? I don't regret characters. But it's bit scary for someone just logged in my account and took some gold. I just changed my password. What should i do next? Help me!

I guess you know perfectly well what happened, this is just one of those "no fair omg" topics, because if you'd want some resolution you'd make a ticket instead of public topic.

A gold squish happened, all gold in circulation got halved that includes gold posted on warmane store, gold in mail, gold from AH. It was halved by the staff by planned announcement made over 2 months ago.
Don't take my answer as rude or anything, its not the intention, but it happened, there is no going back, what gold is lost is lost forever, no one will be returning any gold unless its not some bug like how a guy from frostmourne got his gold halved (see announcement > Squish topic > page 7/8


About your deleted characters there was a criteria for deletion:
Level 1 and above characters that have not been played since January 2020 will have their names removed.
Characters will have the opportunity to choose a new name upon the next login.

Level 1 - 30 characters that have not been played since July 2020 will be removed.
Premium accounts are exempt from removals.
Characters that are guild masters will result in the guild being removed.

Blackrock characters that have been deleted pending restore for over 3 months will be removed.
