Technical Abandonned quest that i canno't get anymore

Hi, I abandonned a quest to get the defense stance, and the npc won't give me the quest no more. I tried logging out, and leaving the city of teldrassil, and checked if i had the item in my inventory (no). How can i proceed to get the NPC (Kyra Windblade) to give me the quest ? Im on the 1x server. Ty
