Website Gifting mounts and companions

In a few days friend of mine have birthday and i was thinking to gift here an companion. The problem is , everything is bound on pick up.
Those things havent impact on gameplay so it would be nice to have a option near "purchase" cart, something like "gift or send to (character name - realm).
Its ok if you cut coin or two ofcourse
About mounts, to be fair and to have no impact on gameplay, 310% mounts shouldnt be avaliable as gifts, but considering coins cut, why not?

You can just gift him coins and then he can buy whatever he wants with them

I guess this thing doesn't exist because it would bring another layer of "illegal" trading.

But it would be nice to gift any item from Shop to any character you want, paying tax and everything ofc
