WotLK Guild deleted

I've come back to Lordaeron after a prolonged break from WoW only to find out that my guild Raised by Slavs is gone, along with entire guild bank of items. Can anyone fill me in in what happened?

There were inactivity cleanings, read about it in the news section. Its probably one of those events that got your guild deleted, as far as i know your items are lost in the abyss
