Technical No addons, what could be the problem?

I downloaded the client from warmane, and when i downloaded there was no AddOns folder. So i created one in the interface folder, put in all the addons, but the game is not detecting it. On the login menu there is no little option box named ''addons'' ingame. What could be the problem?

AddOns folder is generated when you run the game.
