The second content phase of the Frostmourne realm is coming to a close and the next one is unwrapping itself soon. Frostmourne is set to progress into the third stage of content on October 15, 2021 at 15:00 server time.
There will be no downtime and the realm will smoothly progress into the next phase by unlocking the new vendors and instances and relevant content automatically.
Last year we decided to shorten this period and this time we might do it as well depending on the percentage of the community that has achieved full clear rate in all of the content that we will offer in this content tier and naturally the level of boredom considering that the main course of the content tier is consider a highly repetitive and disliked raid content. If we will do so, we will notify you a month prior to shortening the tier. Alongside Trial of the Grand Crusader, we shall be offering two timewalking experiences:
Isle of Quel'Danas
While some players have expected the Ahn'Qiraj storyline here we have decided to postpone this to the very end of the Frostmourne season as it will take more preparation. This is a timewalking experience many have not actually done, so we encourage all the players that have not played it, to play it. Isle of Quel'Danas can be a challenging yet entertaining zone and we have changed up the rewards to match our current content tier.
Zul'Aman
While all of the players are busy over at Isle of Quel'Danas, the old enemies of Quel'Thalas have been brewing something. It is up to the players to stop Zul'jin and the Amani from being released from their temple city in this classic timewalking experience. It is up to the adventurers of Frostmourne to go into Zul'Aman and stop the Amani trolls from taking over one inch of land that does not belong to them.
Frostmourne Furious Gladiator Season Rewards
Furious Gladiator PvP season is scheduled to end on October 18, 2021 at 22:00 server time. Arena points will be wiped, whilst honor points will remain. Relentless Gladiator season will start immediately.
Players will not be eligible for rewards IF: (team itself will remain intact as part of a rank slot)
- Personal rating is not within 150 of the Team Rating.
- You do not have at least 70% of the team's games played.
- Bans for extreme cases of MMR dropping.
- Removal of the team from the ladder and disbanding of the aforementioned team, thus meaning disqualification of receiving any seasonal rewards in case of extreme MMR dropping.
We would also like to remind the players that MMR dropping (especially below default rating) or any other form of abuse can lead to disbanding of the team. We will exempt this while done to restart team with a new partner(s) but extreme cases can still lead to team disbanding.
In order to promote activity in the 3v3 bracket and due to naturally low rating teams occupying top ten slots, players will only qualify for Gladiator titles if they're above 2 000 rating.
Suspicious activity, win trading and exploiting will result in account suspension and in extreme cases account termination.

The so called Adventures are a bunch of dishonorable soulless mercenaries who would kill anyone and anything for gold weapons armor and mounts , and they shamelessly dare to call themselves "Heroes" .

However , their talent builds are made specifically to cowardly deal as much damage as possible to the taunted and distracted targets who arent actually attacking them , as those targets would one shot them if they turn around and switch their targets .
Their armor is made of such paper with no resilience which makes them extremely vulnerable to the real warriors of Frostmourne , outside their raid instances ...

should i save Wintergrasp mark or change it into honors instead... before next season starts?
i know arena points will be reseted but idk about honor and wg marks or even the tokens that u can send to alts.

If I'm reading this right, your turning Zul Aman & Isle of Quel'Danas into level 80 raids with level appropriate loot? Why can't yall do this on Icecrown where we literally have nothing to do instead on a progressive realm that is patching into new content every few months?

Because people choosing to play on Frostmourne are signing up for that experience. Typically people playing on Icecrown choose to do so because of the experience offered there. While the feature may be popular for many on Icecrown, not everyone would be happy with it. Additionally, these seasonal ideas and systems we are implementing are first-time for us, and we're experimenting a bit to see what's popular and what works.

I wasn't aware that Frostmourne would have timewalking content until this post. It's a really appealing idea to me, and it makes me want to play on Frostmourne but at the same time any toon I level on Frostmourne is inevitably going to end up back on Icecrown, so it really kills the incentive for me to play there. Hopefully if y'all conclude that it is popular (and I don't see why it wouldn't be) that it'll make its way to Icecrown in the future. Getting a level 80 timewalk Blackwing Lair and Molten Core would be the highlight of my year lol.
I think alot of the veteran players would welcome i. I would assume the majority of veteran players that want the true "blizzlike" experience are on Lordaeron. I feel like the ones on Icecrown who would be most resistant to change would be the waves of new players who haven't spent the last 10 years playing the same content. At the same time, you're going to have a part of the population that wouldn't know the difference either way lol.
