Quest: Drake Hunt [Coldarra, Borean Tundra]

Hello guys, I have a problem with Quest: Drake Hunt [Coldarra, Borean Tundra].
Whenever I get the spear into the Hatchling, it just goes in it and after that it dissapears, is this a bug?
What can I do?

its already reported in the bugtracker next time when you find a bug report it in the bugtracker (first check if it has been reported already recently so we dont get duplicate reports)

It IS possible to complete it but you have to be super close to the drake when throwing the spear apparently.
