Meta gems and Gear Score on different races

Hello all,

I am a new player to the Blackrock realm and I noticed something strange. When I am making new characters some of them have access to free meta gems and others need to buy them for honor points. At first I thought this was between different classes in order to balance them, but when I made 2 warriors, one Orc and one Human, I noticed that the Human had free meta gems and overall more gear score. Can someone explain this please :)

There are x2 different "modes" on blackrock at moment.

one is "seasonal mode". In this mode you play with players from "Frostmourne" realm (which is a progressive realm)
New characters are by default on this mode

the second, the most famous and with more players active, is the "end-game mode".
Which is the one you enable by selecting "Battlegroup 1 opt-in" by talking to "info e preset" npc

So this is the current difference between your x2 warrior: one is on "seasonal mode" and the other one isn't)
