Problem with PP infusion?

I've tried doing the PP infusion quest as a warrior. Both of the times I've tried it, when we go from 1st phase to 2nd phase, my abom REMAINS stunned for an extra 10-15 seconds after the rest of the raid has been awakened. Unfortunately, this makes it very hard to manage the pools of green ooze. A guildie also tried and the same thing happened.

Anyone else have this problem, and what did you do to solve it? The only think I can think of is make sure there are no ooze puddles at the end of phase 1.

Please help!
