I recommend getting Large Address Aware which allows your WoW client to use more than 2GB RAM.
Thanks, I'll get that. I think the issue was I was using a client from another WotLK server which shall not be named.
I switched to Warmane client and I went from 15 fps in Dalaran at max settings to 100-144 fps in Dalaran at max settings just by switching the client lol. Haven't ran into the memory issue since switching.
I'll get that addon though, I got 32gb of ram. Might as well use it :P
This client will never be able to address more than 4GB. Don't expect miracles. Large Address Aware will solve most of the memory issues, but after that everything is just wotlk being wotlk - 10yo+ game, optimized to run on 15yo potatos, not 3mo NASA PCs.
